Review of the Importance and Relationship of Branding in Marketing for Engineering Products
Abstract
The market is segmented based on several criteria, and the products are targeted to audiences by the businesses [1]. For instance, some luxury cars have a market amongst high-income individuals, whereas some low-priced cars are marketed to mid-income individuals. Engineering products and services have a specific market segment. The customer defines the value of the product by comparing the worth they gain with all the other alternatives they can choose from [1]. Let us consider a case where a customer intends to buy a cell phone, they will start comparing the features desired with the price paid and even brands. They may also consider the costs associated with retaining their older phone by paying for minor repairs while making the decision to buy a new phone. Thus, every customer is unique when they see the value of the product. But some characteristics can likely be studied with respect to data to understand customer behaviour and use the same to develop a new marketing strategy. The brand value of the product is something that attracts and retains many customers. With a brand name, there is some sort of trust developed, such as reliable products and better quality at the given price paid [2]. For instance, sports drinks worldwide carry a brand value as they are used in sports celebrity accessories, shirts, and so on. The messages conveyed by commercials by Coke and Pepsi have allowed them to retain a large customer base and do things beyond the product itself [3]. This paper focuses on the role of branding in marketing and understand the relationship between the value gained by the consumer in engineering products. This eventually assists the engineering businesses in preparing themselves to improve the value of the product through branding and outweigh their competitors.

Reviving Google+: Insights, Personas, and Design Strategies for Sustainable Digital Communities
Abstract
The prevalence of social networking in daily life has empowered a handful of tech giants to dominate online communities, shape public discourse, and wield vast influence over billions. Meta’s near-monopoly on global social platforms—Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp—raises pressing concerns over privacy, user autonomy, data sovereignty, and systemic risk if a single provider fails or abuses its power. This comprehensive research investigates the redevelopment of Google+ as a modern, privacy-forward, community-driven alternative, grounded in extensive user research, market analysis, persona development, and competitive assessment.
Through methodical use of surveys, user journey mapping, and empathy mapping, the study identifies widespread dissatisfaction with existing platforms. A significant share of users is disillusioned by intrusive ads, lack of privacy, algorithmic opacity, and the homogeneity of engagement on Meta properties. Users across demographics crave platforms that offer personalized community spaces, transparent privacy controls, integration with productivity tools, and genuine opportunities for meaningful interaction—needs left unfulfilled by monopolistic incumbents.
Building on this premise, the research delineates key reasons underpinning Google+’s initial decline—namely poor differentiation, lack of a distinct value proposition, and subpar user experience—but argues that these failings are not intrinsic to the Google+ model. Instead, by leveraging the Google ecosystem’s reach and focusing on design principles that empower users, the platform can be rebuilt as an exemplar of ethical social networking.
The design process employed iterative ideation informed by evidence-based personas, journey maps, user flows, empathy mapping, and SWOT analysis to craft a streamlined, engaging, and privacy-first social environment. Benchmarking against Reddit, Discord, and Facebook revealed specific opportunities for differentiation: professional-grade integrations, moderation tools, and welcoming community onboarding, reinforced by modular UI/UX and clear value articulation.
The research ultimately posits that a redesigned Google+ can reduce social media monopoly risk by creating competitive tension, encouraging innovation, and giving users power over their digital experience. The paper concludes with actionable design recommendations, a synthesis of user feedback, and strategic insights for the sustainable operation of a next-generation social platform. The findings serve as a blueprint for both Google and other stakeholders interested in restoring plurality, resilience, and trust to the fabric of online community and interaction in the digital era.

Monastic Leadership and Political Activism in Myanmar: A Study of the Saffron Revolution
Abstract
The Saffron Revolution of 2007 marked a pivotal moment in Myanmar’s modern history, highlighting the intersection of religion, politics, and social justice. Central to this movement was the role of Theravāda Buddhist monastic leaders, whose moral authority and public influence galvanized mass protests against the military junta. This paper examines the causes, development, and outcomes of the Saffron Revolution with a specific focus on the monastic community’s leadership. Drawing upon historical context, Buddhist doctrinal principles, and contemporary political analysis, the study explores how the Sangha transitioned from a traditionally apolitical role to one of direct social and political engagement. It further discusses the implications of monastic activism for both religious authority and civil society in Myanmar and Theravāda Buddhist countries more broadly.

Review of the challenges and opportunities associated with clean energy and electric vehicles integration into modern smart power grids
Abstract
The transportation and power sectors are both on the verge of making a firm transformation from the global shift toward electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy sources. Ideal for the situations in benefiting the economy and environment but introduces complications in the power grids and smart applications of the demand management. This paper provides a comprehensive review of existing literature on the challenges and opportunities associated with electrification and synergizing the renewables from solar, wind, or geo-thermal energy. Many authors have objectively synthesized the past data and research elaborating the critical electrical systems in addressing the key issues such as increased grid load, localized infrastructure stress, the mismatch between energy supply and EV charging demand, and the need for advanced grid management systems. Thus, this paper draws conclusions from the given research enclosing the whole picture with a normalized linear equation to direct researchers in narrowing their focus. Possible application of this methodology is restricted to scholarly authors and policy makers. How planning in urban development’s inclusive of modernized power systems requires thorough literature review becomes the motivation of this review research paper. The limitations of the study are the pool of research papers studied and interpreted in this paper. Moreover, evolving research with improved products in both charging and grid integration affects the results of this study.

MEASURING CONSUMER VULNERABILITY TO SOCIAL MEDIA MISMARKETING PRACTICES
Abstract
This study investigates the consumer vulnerability to the social media mismarketing trend, namely, influencer marketing campaigns, false or exaggerated insinuations, and personalised advertising. Employing quantitative research design, a structured Google form questionnaire was used to obtain primary data containing both open-ended and closed-ended questions among social media users in the Calicut district, Kerala. Secondary data was sourced from published research articles and official documents. Patterns of exposure, awareness and response behaviour were analysed through descriptive and percentage analysis. With the use of ‘Mismarketing Vulnerability Index(MVI), the results demonstrate that even though the situation with exaggerated or false claims is widely known to consumers, the majority of them do not respond by taking corrective action to realise their limitations in the current reporting system. The most vulnerable group of people turned out to be teenagers and young adults, highly influenced by trends and paid advertising. The paper highlights the importance of the increased regulation, the specific digital literacy campaigns, and the ready grievance redressal procedures that would drive the digital marketing sphere toward openness, liability, and confidence.
