Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming project management across various industries, and software development project management is no exception. Managing software development projects using AI is more beneficial but it has its challenges. This paper highlights the current difficulties in managing software development projects through AI-enabled processes. It delves deep into some of the core problems that small and big enterprises grapple with while integrating AI into their SDLC (Software Development life cycle) management. It provides fair and unbiased reviews of the existing literature, analyzes and presents insights into AI and its use in project management more systematically, and offers possible solutions to overcome challenges that exist in the integration of AI in modern and agile project management processes It also describes future possibilities and ways in which software development companies can tap into the growing power of AI in project management to manage projects with improved outcome or greater success.
