Abstract :

With the rapid rise of the internet and digital tools, cyber crime has grown from a few cases of hacking into a complicated global issue. Since the internet doesn’t have physical boundaries and is hard to control, traditional laws are struggling to keep up—especially when deciding which country has the right to deal with these crimes. This article breaks down how legal systems, especially India’s, are handling cyber crime jurisdiction. It covers how countries work together on such cases, key court rulings, and compares India’s system with those of other nations. Using real data and examples, it gives a complete picture of where we stand now and how we can do better.
