Abstract :

Restaurant businesses within service sector attract the entrepreneurs from all the walks of business ecosystem. Reason of attraction is the evergreen demand in this business. However, who sustains in the business is determined by its ‘Service Quality’. Service quality in the restaurant business is crucial for customer satisfaction and loyalty. It encompasses staff training, efficiency, ambiance, menu quality, technology integration, personalization, and continuous improvement. Well-trained staff ensure polite and efficient customer interaction, while streamlined kitchen operations and prompt service enhance efficiency. A welcoming atmosphere and high cleanliness standards create a pleasant dining experience. Using quality ingredients and offering diverse menu options cater to different tastes. Technology integration for online orders and reservations adds convenience. Personalizing service and recognizing special occasions enhance customer experience. Regular quality checks and staff feedback ensure continuous improvement in service quality. This paper examines the ‘Service Quality’ of the restaurants in the region of DNH & DD, India. A scale developed by (Saneva & Chortoseva, 2018) was adopted to collect the responses for this study.
