Abstract :

Many public transit agencies are exploring ways in which alternative fuels can be utilized to reduce our nation’s dependency on imported oil and to avoid the environmental impacts associated with the combustion of petroleum products. Of all the alternative fuel options, electricity is among the most desirable in terms of affordability, availability, security, and sustainability. Unfortunately, limitations in battery technology result in electric vehicle operating ranges that are much lower than those of internal combustion-powered vehicles. Although opportunity charging is one strategy for increasing the driving range of electric buses by means of a series of brief recharges during normally scheduled midday layovers, it has yet to be embraced by the transit industry, in part because of the difficulties involved in having drivers connect and disconnect the bus from the charger at regular intervals throughout the day. Roadway-mounted inductively-coupled power transfer systems effectively remove this constraint by automating the charge process, thereby obviating the need for driver intervention. Ultracapacitor energy storage systems offer advantages over battery systems for such applications.

Abstract :

The project is to determine the location of fault in underground cable lines[1] from the source station to exact location of fault in any units, here in kilometres. Whenever a fault occurs in the underground cable line for some reason, the repairing process relating to that faulted cable becomes difficult owing to lack of proper system for tracking the exact fault location and the type of fault occurred in the cable. For this, a system has to be developed to find the exact location of the fault in the distribution line system for all the three phases R, Y & B for different type of situations of faults. Here in this paper single line to ground, double line to ground & three phase faults have been considered. Therefore, the basic concept of Ohm’s law[2]is found suitable in principle to develop a fault location tracking system. Based on the Ohm’s Law, it is found that the resistance of the cable is proportional to its length under constant conditions of temperature and the cross section area and therefore if a low DC voltage is applied at the feeder end through a series of resistor in cable lines, the current would vary depending upon the location of fault in the cable. Here a system is developed which consists of a microcontroller, LCD display, Fault Sensing Circuit Module, IoT Wi-Fi Module and proper power supply arrangement with regulated power output. Hence, if there is a short circuit.

Abstract :

The world is severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic health-care workers are hostile to work inside of COVID-19 hospital due to social distancing. Supplying essentials food and delivering medicine in hospitals has a challenge. To address the need of the World health organization and the certified sanitizing system is a solution for personnel and surface decontamination. To overcome the problem developed automatic portable sanitizing equipment for spraying sanitization solution. The portable sanitizer unit is attached to the top of the mobile robot. The system integrates a sprinkler mechanism and is used to distribute air and disinfectant fluid mixture. The mobile robot main components consist of a DC motor, Bluetooth module, Arduino, Motor driver, Submergible pump, Sprinkler, Battery, DC Converters are used. The system is capable of sanitizing the floors of hospitals. The application area can include hospital corridors, medical shops, operation theatre, walking pathways, doctor room, testing center, and patient room, etc.

Abstract :

The objective of this project is to determine the distance of underground cable fault from base station in kilometres USING an Arduino. The underground cable system is a common practice followed in many urban areas. While a fault occurs for some reason, at that time the repairing process related to that particular cable is difficult due to not knowing the exact location of the cable fault. The proposed system is to find the exact location of the fault. The project uses the standard concept of Ohms law i.e., when a low DC voltage is applied at the feeder end through a series resistor (Cable lines), then current would vary depending upon the location of fault in the cable. In case there is a short circuit (Line to Ground), the voltage across series resistors changes accordingly, which is then fed to inbuilt ADC of Arduino to develop precise digital data for display in kilometres. The project is assembled with a set of resistors representing the cable length in km and the fault creation is made by a set of switches at every known km to cross check the accuracy of the same. The fault occurring at a particular distance, the respective phase along with the distance is displayed on the LCD. The same information is also sent to the concerned authority mobile phone over GSM, interfaced to the Arduino. Further this project can be enhanced by using capacitor in an ac circuit to measure the impedance which can even locate the open circuited cable, unlike the short-circuited fault only using resistors in DC circuit as followed in the above proposed project.

Abstract :

This project is mainly proposed for reducing the power loss in industries by using power factor compensation through a number of shunt capacitors. Power factor is defined as the ratio of real power to apparent power. So, the increase in reactive power (real power) increases the apparent power , so the power factor also decreases. By having low power factor the industry needs more energy to meet its demand, so the efficiency decreases. In this system we proposed the time lag between zero voltage pulse and zero current pulse delay generated by suitable op-amp circuits in comparator mode and fed into two interrupt pins in microcontroller. Microcontroller displays the power loss due to inductive load on the LCD. This process is continuously actuate until the power loss would be zero by using relays which is used to bring the shunt capacitors into load circuit. 8-bit microcontroller is used in this project which belongs to AVR family.

Abstract :

:- In current pandemic, Covid-19 has created United States understand the importance of Face Masks and that we ought to perceive the crucial effects of not carrying one, currently over ever. Right now, there aren't any mask detectors put in at the jammed places, however we tend to believe that it's of utmost importance that at transportation junctions, densely inhabited residential district, markets, academic establishments and care areas, it's currently vital to line up mask detectors to make sure the security of the general public. during this paper we've tried to make a 2 phased mask detector which can be simple to deploy at the mentioned shops. With the assistance of pc Vision, it's currently attainable to sight and implement this on massive scale. we've used CNN for the implementation of our model. The implementation is completed in Python, and also the python script implementation can train our mask detector on our selected dataset victimization TensorFlow and Keras. we've side additional sturdy options and trained our model on numerous variations, we tend to created bound to have massive varied and increased dataset so the model is in a position to obviously, determine and detection the face masks in real time videos. The trained model was tested on each time period videos and static footage and in each the cases the accuracy was over the opposite designed models.

Abstract :

Machine learning gives strategies, tools and equipment, which assist to learn mechanically and to make correct predictions based totally on beyond observations. The records are retrieved from the actual time environmental setup. Machine getting to know techniques can help in the integration of laptop-primarily based structures in predicting the dataset and to improve the performance of the device. The main reason of this paper is to provide Tax Predictions from given data and also fraud detection. Such contrast helps to offer the correct result in algorithms. For this reason evaluating, it tries to determine tax benefits which are more likely to be utilized by ability fraud taxpayers by means of investigating the non-public income tax structure. Secondly, it targets at characterizing thru socioeconomic variables the phase profiles of potential fraud taxpayer to offer an audit selection approach for enhancing tax compliance and improve tax design. Random forest algorithms is a tedious undertaking, for real time dataset. The combination of statistics Feature Extraction proposed gives precious statistics to contribute to the examine of tax fraud.

Abstract :

A shopping mall is a place where wide varieties of items are available. Many shopping malls use barcode scanning system. As this system is time consuming, people have to wait in a long queue at the billing counter. To overcome this problem, smart shopping cart is introduced. This proposed system uses RFID technology. Every product is attached with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag. For scanning this tag RFID reader is used which is attachedto the cart. As a result bill is generated in the cart itself and is displayed on the LCD which saves the time of the customer.
