Abstract :

ABSTRACT The research study aims to see whether students in higher educational institutions are satisfied with technology-assisted Online Education during the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on their physical mental and emotional health. The findings of this study could help policymakers and healthcare professionals develop effective psychological therapies and costefficient recommendations for preventing negative feelings among general people who are solitary at home. Due to the non-normal distribution of the data, a non-parametric test was employed to investigate the significant correlations between sample characteristics and the level of health problems during the COVID-19 outbreak. The connection between gender, education level, and age group vs the stated level of health problems was evaluated using a One-Way ANOVA test for independence. It may indicate distress and an increased abnormal or obsessive tendency like picking nails, sucking the thumb, and pulling the hair. Excessive use of gadgets even resulted in mental health problems, stress sensations, anxiety, excitation or thrill, headaches, tiredness of the muscle, eye and ear strains, obesity or overweight, faintness, irregular sleep patterns, mental disturbance, back pain, aching shoulders, neck, and muscles pain, etc. Online education also affected the physical activity levels of students like bad postures, later bedtimes, longer sleep rise discontinuation, and later waking times which has been associated with motionless and lazy lifestyles. The online survey form was kept open for a week to allow respondents to reply. The participating population does not have a regional boundary Keywords: COVID-19, Health Crisis, Online Education, One-Way ANOVA, Perception.

Abstract :

DIE CASTINGS are produced by forcing molten metal under pressure into metal mould called dies. Mould filling in permanent mould casting depends on the force of gravity, die casting involves metal flow at high velocities induced by the application of pressure. Because of this high velocity filling, die casting can produce shapes that are more complex than shapes that can be produced by permanent mould casting.

Abstract :

As the first initiative of its kind in Algeria, here is presented a solar-powered mobile “Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation” disinfection unit (UVGI) based on a special germicidal ultraviolet-C (UVC) radiator. The system was designed to disinfect several objects such as: medical tools, reusable masks, face-shields, gloves, phones, laptops, keys, money and many other portable devices that need to be disinfected/sterilized. It offers the advantage of complete autonomy through the built-in photovoltaic (PV) system that includes a solar panel, a gel battery, a charge controllerand a power inverter. The system provides an extra 220V-50Hz outlet with 375VA maximum power to be used when energy is needed. The system is easily scalable to generate higher ultraviolet dosages by adding more UVC lamps. The chemical-free germicidal UVC sanitizing method employed by this device effectively disactivates a very wide range of microorganisms (microbes bacteria and fungi and viruses including the actual SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID-19 respiratory disease) and it has several advantages in comparison to chemical-based sanitizing methods. The total cost to make this open source device is below 1000 € and is easily customizable and scalable. This device is an open source, secure and fast equipment for objects and surface disinfection. The device will be fully automated by adding PIR sensors or remote control after further funding will be received.

Abstract :

A smart helmet has been developed that is able to detect of hazardous events in the mines industry. In the development of helmet, we have considered the three main types of hazard such as air quality, helmet removal, and collision (miners are struck by an object). The first is the concentration level of the hazardous gases such as CO, SO2, NO2, DHT temperature and Humidity and particulate matter. The second hazardous event was classified as a miner removing the mining helmet off their head. The layout of the visualisation software was completed, however the implementation was unsuccessful. Tests were successfully done to calibrate the accelerometer. PCB’s that were designed and made included a breakout board and a prototype board. A whole software implementation was done based on Eagle of the measuring of sensors and of calculations done with the measured values. This paper presents the undertaken design detailing solutions to issues raised in previous research.

Abstract :

In response to COVID19 pandemic outbreak, there is a need for a temperature check-up of the visitors to detect fever before they enter the city via the airports, railway stations and even at the highway tolls. There is a need for thermal screening in shopping malls, multiplex, supermarket and various other places before granting access to the visitors. There is a risk of cross infection in manual testing. The MLX90614 is a high-performance Infrared Temperature Sensor that can be used to automatically make a temperature check-up and decide whether to grant the door access. This paper is comprised of mainly the three subsystems: namely Human Presence Detection System, Temperature Measurement System and automatic door access control with display.

Abstract :

Agro waste which is increasing day by day becomes eyesore and in turn pollutes the environment, especially in villages where no waste disposal system exists. A large amount of agro waste is being generated into the tribal regions are discarded or burned which leads to the contamination of environment and air. Hence, these waste are to be effectively utilized. Agro Waste are added with soil at particular percentages to obtain high strength bricks that possess thermal and sound insulation properties to control pollution and to reduce the overall cost of construction; this is one of the best ways to avoid the accumulation of agro waste. The agro waste is naturally generated in surplus quantity and hence the cost factor comes down. Hence in this thesis, an attempt is made to study regard the properties of the brick which is manufactured using agro wastes. The present work deals with the manufacturing and analysis of bricks made with waste and soil. The bricks produced are light weight, have smooth surface and fine edges, do not have cracks and have high crushing strength and very low water absorption.

Abstract :

A shopping mall is a place where wide varieties of items are available. Many shopping malls use barcode scanning system. As this system is time consuming, people have to wait in a long queue at the billing counter. To overcome this problem, smart shopping cart is introduced. This proposed system uses RFID technology. Every product is attached with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag. For scanning this tag RFID reader is used which is attached to the cart. As a result bill is generated in the cart itself and is displayed on the LCD which saves the time of the customer

Abstract :

The growing of air and sound pollution is one of the major issues faced by people these days. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor air quality as well as sound pollution and keep it under control for a better future and healthy living for all. So, we’ve proposed an air and sound pollution monitoring system that allows us to monitor and check air quality as well as sound pollution in a particular area through Internet of Things. This system works on the methods of IOT which is a rising technology based on the fusion of electronics and computer science. The monitored data can be obtained from remote location without actually visiting it due to the access of internet. System uses gas as well as noise sensors to sense presence of harmful gases and sound in the air and constantly transmit this data to microcontroller. The sensors interact with microcontroller which processes this data and transmits it over internet. This allows authorities to monitor air and noise pollution in different areas. Therefore, through this system any authority can keep watch on the noise pollution near schools, hospitals etc, and if system detects air quality and noise issues it alerts authorities so they can take measures to control the issue. This project can be used to reduce the pollution which may affect the environment.
