Integrating Bio-diversity Conservation And Climate Projects: Analysis, Policies and Mitigation
Vaibhav Kathuria
The paper derives in a step-wise approach and manner the filtering, refining and defining of relevant and integrated aspects which are important for factoring bio-diversity in climate projects planning and implementation. The importance of bio-diversity in nature and its processes are discussed and how the very essence of a climate project such as a renewable energy project may be disrupted in positive impact effects if bio-diversity gets harmed during one or different phases of the project implementation. Mitigation, policies and recommendations on a global scale with relevance potential for country-specific implementation are also discussed and thus, an integrated approach and not a discrete one of bio-diversity and climate projects implementation is derived, researched and analysed with a systematic highlight to relevant research and aspects of considerations.
