Abstract :

This paper presents an innovative LiDAR-based detection system designed to automatically identify and report player line touches in Kabaddi, including boundary line, middle line, and bonus line crossings. The system utilizes LiDAR sensors to monitor player movement across the court, enabling real-time, automated feedback with high accuracy. The integration of LiDAR technology improves the objectivity of refereeing by eliminating human error and providing instant detection of violations. The developed system comprises a LiDAR sensor, microcontroller-based processing unit, and a mobile application for real-time feedback. Experimental evaluations show that the system achieves high detection accuracy, with minimal false positives, and can be seamlessly integrated into professional Kabaddi tournaments to enhance gameplay fairness and efficiency.
