Abstract :
Training and development are essential components of human resource management, significantly influencing employee performance and organizational success. This study examines the impact of training and development initiatives on employee performance within KNOT Coaching & Consulting’s corporate clients in Karur. Utilizing a descriptive research design, primary data was collected through surveys, interviews, and observations, while secondary data was sourced from internal records and training materials. A sample of 120 employees from five client companies was selected using stratified random sampling to ensure diverse representation. The findings reveal that well-structured training programs positively influence job efficiency, work quality, and adaptability, contributing to enhanced employee satisfaction and retention. Conversely, inadequate training can lead to skill gaps and reduced performance. This research offers practical recommendations for optimizing training strategies, ultimately fostering a high-performance workplace culture.
