Abstract :

Human Resources (HR) has always been considered vital to the firm's success. It plays a key role in identifying talent gaps, and resources a company needs to outperform, compete, and be more productive. But, with globalization, the ever-increasing need to integrate modern technology solutions into business processes, and evolving social and cultural values, HR has greatly been transformed. Though the future of human resources is more promising with new technologies making it all easy for human resources professionals, departments, and organizations to act more responsibly and confidently and reach their goals in less time, it is beset with new challenges that arise due to technology in terms of remote work management, transparency, security, and other interconnected factors. With evolving tech, HR practices are more prone to change and risks in automation, remote work, diversity, inclusion, data analytics, data security, and other interconnected aspects. This paper explores some of the key HR practices of the future with a due focus on the trends in technology and the way such technologies redefine HR operations. It describes how HR of the past worked, how HR of the present works and what the near future holds. It provides insights into significant changes the HR industry has undergone with the introduction of the technology and how new perspectives and challenges can be dealt with for improved HR operations.
